Atrium approaches its 25th anniversary stronger than ever. Our community successfully met a major milestone with the school’s move to an award- winning long-term home that reflects and supports it teaching philosophy. The Future is Now Capital Campaign raised over $3.7 million in gifts and loans to support this move, reflecting the deep and continued commitment of past families, current families, and friends of the school to Atrium’s mission and values.

In this rapidly changing world, strong academic skills are essential for students, but not enough. The importance of Atrium’s emphasis on diversity, social justice and environmental responsibility is only becoming more relevant in our increasingly interconnected world. The cross disciplinary study, collaborative and experiential learning that is at the core of Atrium’s progressive philosophy are increasingly recognized as providing critically important skills.

Your support is very much appreciated and ensures current and future generations of students benefit from the best of Atrium’s progressive education. Gifts to the Annual Fund from current families, past families, alumni, trustees, grandparents, faculty and staff, friends, and foundations help make this innovative program possible by supporting the operating budget. Gifts to the endowment funds enrich the program and support diversity. Gifts to the capital campaign help provide faculty with the best possible platform to support their teaching goals and help ensure the long- term success of Atrium School. • Gifts to Atrium School are tax deductible. • Many employers having matching programs that will, in most cases, double your gift. We appreciate being designated for these funds.

• The Charitable IRA Rollover Gift. In 2006 and 2007 only, under the Pension Protection Act of 2006, donors 70½ and above planning to make a gift of up to $100,000 may enjoy tax advantages by giving directly from IRAs. Please consult your financial advisor to determine if you can take advantage of this opportunity by the end of 2007.
